入院前日の日は、JIROUの習い事の当番でした。JIROUは小学校からずっとBASEBALLを習っていて本当にただただ好きで続けていました。辞めたいと言ったことは一度もありません。（いつもスタメンに入れるほど上手な選手ではなかったけれど…）
入院前日ということもあり、当番を変わってあげると言ってくださるかたもいたけれど 家にいてももう準備も何もなかったので普段通り朝から野球にいきました。だいたい１ヶ月に一度のお当番が回ってきます。「術後はさすがにできないかな..」と思っていたので７月中に８月分のお当番の分も2回やってしまうことにしました。
「困っている時ほど人の優しさがよく分かる」というけれど この日一緒だったお当番のお母さんたちはみんな「無理せず、術後はゆっくりしてほしい」と言ってくれて本当に嬉しかったです。無事に練習が終わり、JIROUと１８時頃帰宅したのでした。すると…
「お母さん、ネズミが轢かれて死んでる！！」
JIROUが叫んだ方へ寄ると、まだ轢かれて間もないネズミの死骸が道路に！！
手術前日に不吉すぎる..そう思ったのは私だけでなくJIROUもでした。玄関を開けてすぐにふたりとも携帯で「ネズミの死骸 スピリチュアル」と検索してみました。
ネズミの死骸を見た時のスピリチュアルな意味とサイン
・過去からの解放のサイン
・まもなく変化が起こるサイン
・人生のある段階が終わり新たなフェーズへの移行期にあるサイン
とまあこんな感じのことが書いてあり、ふたりともホッと胸を撫で下ろしたのを覚えています。
カラスの時も、ネズミの時も、両方に共通するのは「変化」。
何はともあれ明日は入院です。
The day before he was admitted to hospital, I was on duty as a mother for JIROU’s extracurricular activities. JIROU has been playing baseball since elementary school and he just loved it. He never said he wanted to quit. (Although he wasn’t good enough to be in the starting lineup all the time…) Some people offered to take over my shift because it was the day before he was admitted to hospital, but I didn’t have anything to prepare at home, so I went to baseball in the morning as usual. My shift comes around about once a month. I thought, “I probably won’t be able to do it after the surgery…” so I decided to do it twice in July for August’s shift. They say, “You can really tell how kind people are when they’re in trouble,” but all the mothers on duty who were with me that day said, “Don’t push yourself, take it easy after the surgery,” which made me really happy. Practice ended safely, and I returned home with JIROU around 6pm. Then… “Mom, a mouse has been run over and is dead!!” When we went towards where JIROU had cried, we found the dead mouse on the road, having just been run over!! It was too ominous the day before surgery…JIROU and I both thought so too. As soon as we opened the front door, we both searched “spiritual mouse corpse” on our phones. Spiritual meanings and signs when you see a dead mouse ・Sign of liberation from the past ・Sign that change will soon occur ・Sign that a stage in life has ended and you are in the transition to a new phase It said things like this, and I remember we both sighed in relief. What both the crow and the mouse have in common is “change”. Anyway, we will be hospitalized tomorrow.
