[骨盤臓器脱] 退院日！
Discharge date
朝５：00にはもう起きていたけれど、最後の日は一番よく眠れた気がしました。
朝ごはんの時に
「K先生の外来が始まる前に入院患者さんの診察があるから、呼ばれたらすぐに行けるように準備しといてくださいね。」
と看護師さんに言われました。
診察には私と隣のヒラヤマさんが二人一緒に呼ばれました。
エレベーターの中で
「入院の日から一緒で心強かったです。」
とヒラヤマさんが言ったので
「私も同じように思ってました！」
って二人で笑いました。
彼女は本当に回復が早く、
歩くのも食べるのもひと足さきで、常に前向きで、
私は勝手に元気をもらってました。
夜中ヒラヤマさんのイビキを聞くとなんだか安心して
うるさいなんて全然思わなかった。
４人部屋を選んで本当に良かったです。
K先生の内診は思った以上に痛かったです
縫ったお股の糸は自然に溶けるものらしく抜糸はなかったけれど、
先生が触診すると傷口が引き攣られるような痛みを感じました。
診察室を出ると外来患者さんがたくさんいてなんだかクラクラしました。
久しぶりの人混みだったからかな。
10:00に旦那T氏とJIROUが迎えに来てくれました。
まだ重いものを持てなかったので荷物はJIROUが持ってくれました。
看護師さんたちに御礼を伝えて退院手続きを済ませ、
病院を出た時の光の眩しさは….今でも忘れられません。
7月29日、暑い晴れの日でした。
家まで車で10分くらい。
その間座ってるのもお股の傷が痛かったから
遠い病院を選んでいたら帰りは大変だっただろうなと思いました。
帰宅したら愛犬がすごく喜んでた！！
家に着いたら荷物を片付けようと思っていたのに
体が思うようについていかず、その日はそのままベッドに横になっていました。
母が持ってきてくれたビーフンが
とてもとてもありがたくて美味しかった。
I was up at 5am, but I think I slept the best on my last day. At breakfast, the nurse told me, “Before Dr. K’s outpatient appointment starts, we will see some inpatients, so please be ready to go when you are called.” I was called in for the appointment with Ms. Hirayama, who was next to me. In the elevator, Ms. Hirayama said, “It was reassuring to have you with me since the day I was admitted,” so we both laughed and said, “I felt the same way!” She recovered really quickly, was walking and eating ahead of everyone else, and was always positive and energetic. I felt relieved when I heard Ms. Hirayama’s snoring, and I didn’t think it was noisy at all. I’m really glad I chose the four-person room. Dr. K’s internal examination was more painful than I thought. He said that the stitches in my groin should dissolve naturally, so there was no need to remove them, but when he palpated me, I felt a pain as if the wound was being pulled. When I left the examination room, there were many outpatient patients and I felt a little dizzy. Maybe it was because it had been a long time since I had been in such a crowded place. At around 10 o’clock, my husband Mr. T, and JIROU came to pick me up. I still couldn’t carry heavy things, so JIROU carried my luggage for me. I thanked the nurse, completed the discharge procedures, and left the hospital. I still can’t forget the dazzling light… It was a hot, sunny day on July 29th. It was about a 10-minute drive to my house. The wound in my groin was painful, and if I had chosen a hospital further away, I think it would have been difficult to sit down during that time. When I got home, my dog was overjoyed! I had planned to put my luggage away when I got home, but my body couldn’t keep up, so I stayed in bed that day. I was grateful for the rice noodles my mother made for me, as they were very delicious.
