ネットスーパーの登録
Register for online supermarket
術後しばらくの間は重いものを持つことができないことと、車や自転車の運転ができないことが分かっていたので、近くのネットスーパーで食料品や日用品を購入することにしました。私が利用したのはイトーヨーカドーネットスーパー。配送料は330円で、入会費・年会費・買い物代行費などの費用はかかりません。ちょうど新規入会で１ヶ月配送料無料（3000円以上購入）キャンペーン中だったのでとても助かりました！野菜、肉、日用品、など種類ごとに分けたものを白いスーパーの袋（普通に買い物したら有料ですよね！）に入れて玄関先まで運んできてくれます。値段はまあ安くはないけれどそこまで高くもありません。家族にちょっとおつかいを頼むことはあったけれど、それぞれ忙しいしまとめて買い物するには本当に助かりました。配達時間帯も2時間毎に指定できて、キャンセルや注文変更もできます。
I knew that I would not be able to carry heavy things or drive a car or bike for a while after the surgery, so I decided to buy groceries and daily necessities at a nearby online supermarket. I used Ito-Yokado Online Supermarket. The delivery fee was 330 yen, and there were no registration fees, annual fees, or shopping agency fees. They were running a campaign where new members could get free delivery for one month (for purchases of 3,000 yen or more), so it was very helpful! They put vegetables, meat, daily necessities, and other items into white supermarket bags (which you would have to pay for if you were shopping normally!) and deliver them to my front door. The prices are not cheap, but they are not that expensive either. I sometimes asked my family to run errands for me, but they are all busy, so it was really helpful to do my shopping in bulk. You can specify a delivery time every two hours, and you can cancel or change your order.

Various hairs
髪の毛もしばらく切りに行けないかな…と思ったので美容院へいきました。白髪染めはもともと自分でやっていたので入院の数日前にやりました。2週間くらいですぐ白くなってきちゃうんです。あとは手術するにあたりアソコの毛を剃毛しました。入院時に看護師さんが剃ってくれる病院もあるみたいですが（私の病院ではその説明はなかったです。）自分でしました。vio脱毛やってる人はこういう時いいですね！
I thought I might not be able to get my hair cut for a while, so I went to the hair salon. I had been dyeing my gray hair myself, so I did it a few days before I was admitted to the hospital. It turns gray in about two weeks. And I had to shave my pubic hair before the surgery. It seems that there are some hospitals where the nurses shave it for you when you are admitted (I wasn’t told about this at my hospital), but I did it myself. It’s good for people who had vio hair removal in situations like this!

歯医者で虫歯の治療とクリーニングをしてもらいました。

断捨離と部屋の掃除
Decluttering and cleaning the room
仕事を辞めてひたすら断捨離をしました。子供のもの、本、押し入れ…こんなにってくらい捨てるものがありました。しばらく動けないことを思うと部屋の掃除や庭の雑草取りも色々やっておきました。
I quit my job and decluttered. There were so many things to throw away: my kids’ things, books, the closet… I knew I wouldn’t be able to move for a while, so I cleaned up my room and weeded the garden.
万が一の時のエンディングノート

家のことで私しか分からないことがたくさんあるので（子供の預金のはんこはどれとか暗証番号とかパスワードとか）そういうことをひとまとめに書いておきました。あとは家族ひとりひとりに向けてメッセージを書きました。万が一、全身麻酔から覚めなかったら…と思って。
There are many things about the house that only I know (like which stamps the children have on their savings accounts, pin numbers, passwords, etc.), so I wrote all of that down in one place. I also wrote messages for each family member. Just in case I didn’t wake up from the general anesthesia…
医療保険の手続き
Medical insurance procedures
自分の入っている医療保険会社に手術入院の旨を伝えると書類が送付されてきました。申請は術後になるので事前に書類を用意してあればスムーズでした。
When I notified my medical insurance company that I was going to be hospitalized for surgery, they sent me the necessary paperwork. I have to submit the paperwork after discharge , it have been smoother.
限度額認定証
自分の入っている健康保険組合に「限度額認定証」というものを申請しました。
これは入院前に申請し病院へ提示することにより、窓口での支払上限額が、限度額（収入によりちがう）までとなります。ただし、マイナ保険証があればこの手続きも不要なので今後は必要ないかもしれないですね。
医療機関等の窓口でのお支払いが高額となる場合、支払い後に申請いただくことにより1か月（1日から月末まで）に支払う医療費の自己負担額の上限（自己負担限度額）を超えた額が払い戻されます（高額療養費制度）。しかし、後から払い戻されるとはいえ、一時的な支払いは大きな負担になります。医療機関窓口での1か月のお支払いが最初から自己負担限度額までとなる方法があります。
（※）保険医療機関（入院・外来別）、保険薬局等それぞれでの取扱いとなります。また、同月に入院や外来など複数の受診がある場合は、高額療養費制度の申請が必要となることがあります。保険外負担分（差額ベッド代など）や、入院時の食事負担額等は対象外です。
